About

Pigsty is a boutique floral design studio based in Venice, California.

Engineered in Colorado, Pigsty was born from years of working around flowers, a family of gardening florists, botanical writers and nature lovers. Led by Hope Sword, we are a small studio of creatives who marvel at colors and intricate roadside blooms, wild tablescapes and beautiful parties.

We design with local, foraged & seasonal flowers, delicious garden roses and sometimes imported lady slippers and tropicals – non traditional and containing lots of movement.

We take on select weddings, editorials, events and the occasional landscape design.

Our work has been seen in Vogue, Martha Weddings, People, and Goop, to name a few.

Pigsty Studio is based in Venice, California but works around the globe.

The Small Print

Our full service wedding minimum is $18,000 but we can accommodate budgets for mid-week parties of most sizes.

Ojai, CA

A ceremony under custom built giant olive trees, followed by dinner in their very own little ‘jewel box’. Loads of oncidium orchids, sculptural calla lillies, and the last of the paniculate hydrangea. We used tones of chocolate, cream, rust and greens to bring this wedding to life at the Ojai Valley Inn.
